[cobalt-users] SOS in Portland OR

Hello,

I am still in RESTORE CD Pergatory at this point.  

My friend downloaded the proper .iso CD image from sun (which took about 40hrs 
with his high-bandwidth connection!?), but now the CD will not boot my or any other
machine I've tried it on.  Now I am stuck not knowing if my hardware is the right
match for being able to boot from CD, plus I don't know if the CD was created 
correctly with a "bootable option" enabled at burn-time.

I am wondering at this point if there are any listees within the Portland OR, metro
area who have an original RaQ3 Restore CD who could lend it to me, or have 
successfuly done a restore and would like to show me how it's done?

Right now I'm looking right at a very expensive but very pretty blue-green 
paperweight with a neat LCD screen ...
