I didn't mean stopping responses to my post. That's usually impossible as
for some reason people feel I'm not entitled to post a reply to a post that
I think doesn't belong on the list, but somehow they are exempt from the
rule they seek to impose on me. I meant by pointing out to the list that the
post was spam, (targeted spam, yes, but still spam), that hopefully someone
down the road will realize that just putting OT in front of an advert
doesn't make it less spammy. If the poster had individually sent the copies
to a harvested list of Cobalt subscribers instead of letting the list do the
mailing that probably nobody would argue that it wasn't spam.

The poster may not consider himself a "real spammer" but he may not post
such a commercial message in the future. It's interesting that rarely does
the original poster reply in these threads.
