That's the conclusion I have come to. I have to do a load of chowning and
chmoding so I'm not too concerned about the way that they start life after
being untarred.
I'm just mindful of the fact that there are several tens of files making up
the tar file and that one slip of the keyboard could see them all sitting in
/.
