[cobalt-users] mail for this domain to another server?

I am sure this has been covered, but I cannot find it. All of the
terms I am using are too broad, but I can't think of how to narrow it
down.
I have a dedicated server customer. His server is set up as
www.foo.net.
The DNS for this domain is not yet pointing at the server. It's
pointing to a different server, granite.skyerock.com, which is also
receiving mail for the domain.
We've got an installation of WWWThreads on the server. I've imported
1,276 users from OpenTopic into this WWWThreads database with a
little custom perl scripting. No problem. When sending mail to all of
the users, it goes out just fine and dandy.
However, on the emails where it's a user@xxxxxxx, it chokes. The RaQ
is looking for the user on itself, and it's not supposed to. The mail
is hosted elsewhere.
I've got the DNS records as so (no PTR yet because we don't want it
turned on for testing purposes):
foo.net --> IP addy
www.foo.net --> IP addy
MX mail for foo.net --> priority of 10 --> granite.skyerock.com
How can I make sendmail stop looking for the @foo.net users on this
server, and instead just send the mail out to skyerock like it's
supposed to??
