So they won't fill up your drive. To the same directory, with a name
indicating they're old.

It's not logging. But since there's an error rotating it, the original log
stays intact, and the automatic job scheduler (crond) is trying to rotate
it every time again...

It's a normal error on cobalts (for me, at least) but i think one of the
updates fixed it. Did you install all of them?
