Has anyone successfully upgraded the 2 20GB hard
drives in the Qube3 professional version?
If you ignore the fact that the data has to be moved,
is putting in a bigger hard drive simply a matter of
plugging in a new disk?
I am concerned because the manual says the drives are
ATA/33, and I want to use ATA/100 becuase they are
less expensive (IBM 40GB Deskstar is about $90).
The problem is ATA/100 drives REQUIRE the
80-wire/40-pin connectors, and I cant tell if that is
what the Qube3 has (I haven't opened the case yet).
Thanks in advance for any replies!
Rusty
