Hi Sally,

I hope so...
My current set up is this:
RaQ3i as primary nameserver w/ virtual hosting
RaQ4i (#1) as secondary nameserver w/ virtual hosting
I have just purchased a new RaQ4i (#2), and I am migrating all the virtual
sites from the old RaQ3i to this new machine.
What you want to do is the following:
(1) Download /etc/named/records from the RaQ3i.
(2) Using your favorite text editor replace the IP of the old RaQ3i with
that of RaQ4i #2 everywhere in this file. Be sure not to insert any
word wraps or anything.
(3) Upload the file into the directory /etc/named on your RaQ4i #2
(4) Telnet into RaQ4i #2 and run the command
/usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt/dns/index.cgi
(5) Adjust the A record for ns2.<yourdomain>.com to point to RaQ4i #2
This has worked for me more than once, but as always - YMMV.
Regards, Moritz
