RE: [cobalt-users] RaQ2 -- Add More Memory

I have been running top. Several httpsd and httpd processes and a custodiat
(owned by root) process always seem to be at the top of the "top" listing
when I sort by Memory Usage. For instance I just had about 18 httpsd
sessions and twenty-one httpd sessions. That's fluctating. Now I have 18
httpsd and ten httpd. According to the memory percentages, that's really
only about 25%. So unless I've got about 100 more processes running at .1%,
I can't figure why so much memory is always being used.

Is it possible a user has a busy cgi running or a wikki in place? Both
can
add to the ram useage over time and require a restart. As you are using
top, note what apps are using the ram.
