Hi Rio,
As for using a MAC you'll need to evaluate your own needs. Using Mac OS 9.1
(or lower) MySQL and PHP won't run (neither Apache does).
Using the new MaxOS X you can use MySQL and PHP as DSO since Max OS X is
based on FreeBSD. No hard disk partiionig is needed if MaxOS X is installed
properly. So, you will be able to use your G4 as the development server.
If your aim is designing this configuration will serve best if MySQL and PHP
is needed on your local machine.

to be cobalt-related.
