Hello all,
I am a complete newby in this subject and I need your help.
Currently I am designing a Website which uses PHP and MySQL.
Before I joined this studio, the person in charge of these development used
to use Windows machine for it. Now we only has Macintosh and I would like
to know the best way to configure my Mac for the task. MySQL is already
installed on our RAQ4 server.
My questions are:
1) Is it the best thing to do if I install Linux on Mac and run MYSQL and
PHP?
2) If that the case, should I have a separate hard disc from the one which
has Mac OS,
or would it be enough if I create a partition on the same disc?
I appreciate any help, suggestions & hints.
Many thanks.
Rio
