[cobalt-users] MySQL failure after kernel update

Hi everybody,

I just noticed -- after installing the new kernel a few hours ago -- that 
my databases were not connecting, either the user (root) or my password 
wasn't recognized.
I uninstalled MySQL and reinstalled as new again using the .pkg
Everything is working fine now, the databases were kept untouched ( phew !)
I wonder if the new kernel had something to do with this, as MySQL had 
never failed before.
Better check yours after updating.
