I just installed PHP 4.0.6 statically within the Apache httpd binary
(upgraded Apache to 1.3.20 too) on a RaQ2. Line 113 of ext/standard/crypt.c
within the PHP distro *does* need to be edited to changed 1000.0 to 1.0 in
order to work on the RaQ2. Failure to do so will allow you to get all the
way through make install and restarting Apache, but Apache will not work and
you'll find "Floating point exception" errors within the Apache error log.
I have not tested this version as a DSO (install ./configure --with-apxs to
install as DSO), but that's probably preferable since Apache will not need
to be reinstalled. I hope this info. is helpful.
