A recovery (undelete) can you accomplished with debugfs and dd.  If you
have no other backup, this will work if you haven't overwritten the
data yet.  If interested in this I, or others, can post more specific
info.  The output of the following commands would be very helpful.

   mount
   df -k
   fdisk -l /dev/hda
   fdisk -l /dev/hdc
