Hi Mel,
In the <virtualhost> section of your httpd.conf file
you'll find a DocumentRoot /home/sites/site1/web/
similar line, just modify this to /home/sites/site1/web/cgi-bin
In addition to this make sure the your DocumentIndex to accept
.cgi as initial file.
