I recently saw my very first computer in a pawn shop for $20.

Before my Lobo Max 80 with dual 8 inch winchester drives (remember CP/M?)
and support for 8 or 10 external 10 gig drives and, a 'New' techonology
called 'mirroring' that would switch back and forth between the two 64k
banks of RAM making believe it had 128k.

And before my beloved Atari 800, (with an 8k AND 16k memory expansion card)
I will tell my children stories about their grandfather sitting in the
living room still playing Pac-Man when I got up for school in the morning...

It was a little black box called the 'Timex-Sinclair ZX-81' and for $20 it
even came with the manual.
