I did this too, but I ran our's on an Atari 800. Man, we were big
time... Had two daisy chained 5 1/4 floppies and a cassette drive
for our "massive" storage needs.
Micky Mouse by today's standards.... but high tech and
very geeked out back then when even the likes of AOL was text based
and ran from the command line.
My father used to tell me stories about walking 5 miles
through snow and ice to get to school... Our kids are grown (I'm a
grandpa) but, given the chance, I guess I could tell some lies about
having to drive the Landcruiser all the way to Kmart in order to
purchase our high tech needs...
