[cobalt-users] updating Raq4 software

Greetings,

Thanks for all that helped me decide which patches/updates to apply to my
new Raq4. Now how can I apply these updates to the RAQ? I know how to do it
through the interface - but in some of the install instructions it has the
following info:

Due to the size of this update, please place this package in /home/packages
and install via the 'Loaded' option under the 'Install Software' screen.

Does this mean that I have to upload (via FTP) to the server into the
specific directory? The file in question is 20+ megs in size, I'm using a
slow dial-up connection... are there any alternatives?
