Hi Patrick,
The whole problem is very likely to be the duplicate entry in your passwd file !
This file HAS to have unque entires.
You may possibly need to sort the mess our with this thing after sorting your passwd file:
wget ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/users/duncan/raq3/meta-verify.pl
perl /home/meta-verify.pl -u -a
perl /home/meta-verify.pl -u -i
perl /home/meta-verify.pl -s -a
perl /home/meta-verify.pl -s -i
Have Fun
