OK folks i need some help with this one.
I have searched the archive, tried all I found, and still can't resolve the
issue.
(removed locks, no dupes in httpd.conf)
I can neither change passwords or add users on my Raq3i.
System is current up to the kernel update (haven't installed it or higher
yet).
I create a user through the GUI and get the above mentioned error.
The odd thing though is the user is partially created. I can see all user
directories in the site,
an entry in the /etc/passwd file, and I can FTP with the user. SMTP fails
with no such user,
POP fails to authenticate (bad password).
The other oddity, is one of my users appears twice in the /etc/passwd file.
Is there any harm in just deleting the second entry?
Any ideas?
