Hello to all
My RaQ3i acts in a really strange manner.. I am wondering if there can be
some hardware trouble in my case ?
A few weeks ago, the servers crashed during the compilation of HT://DIG. I
had to manually fsck the disk from a serial link to make it reboot.
For different reasons we decided here to fully reinstall the box: the server
freezed during reinstall, and I had again to fsck the disk.
Yesterday, I tried to install the last mysql PKG from pkg.nl.cobalt.com. The
GUI gave me timeouts.. With ssh, I saw some strange processes running,
including mysqld, but the PKG was still not listed on the GUI.
When I tried to /sbin/reboot, I had a "I/O error". Finally, I had to switch
the server off.
Now, I doesn't boot. I have the message "Kernel panic, no init found. Try
passing init= to the kernel".
But was is really confusing me, is that I have the same message (and so no
more access) if I try to boot in ROM mode !
If anybody can suggest me something, it would be appreciated !
TIA
Best regards
