Thanks Shimi. Great...another student of the Dan K list moderator school.
Yes I searched the Achives and yes I know what "lame server" dns errors mean and
am used to seeing a few dozen daily lame server errors.
Perhaps I should have phrased the question as:
Has anyone received 1000's of lame server errors when Webalizer 2 runs?
This is my first time using Webalizer 2 and I don't recall seeing such
a large number of lame server errors when Webalizer 1.03 runs. I searched
both the Cobalt list archives and my local database of thousands of Cobalt
mails from 1999 through the present and could not find a message pertaining
to this EXACT combo situation.
In the future perhaps we can have our questions pre-screened via private
e-mail to the wannabe list moderators before they are posted to the public
list.
