It is simple. But there has to be a certain level of tact and respect
displayed by ALL the members as well. Dom, you for instance excel in
tactfully educating and redirecting both newbies, and those of us that
occasionally stray from the format. I think a search of the archives would
find few, if any complaints mentioning your name.
Dan on the other hand has progressed from a very articulate and helpful list
member to a very confrontational and aggressive member. I support Dan's
efforts ( I have posted several times agreeing with him) to have folks
educate themselves first and read the archives. However, his recent posts
have been nothing but wasteful. Yes, I'd like to just delete these
nasty-grams but, I need to keep up to speed on all the questions and
answers, including Dan's. I'm going to say it straight out though (pardon
me Revd !) Dan, you've turned into a massive as*#ole. I don't know why
you've become this bitter . I just hope you can make the effort to be the
aide you once where (example: RE: [cobalt-users] NSLOOKUP Produces
Non-Authoritative Answer to queries) or at least hold your tongue.
