I'm a PHP-MySQL/PostgreSQL developer and if you post some snippets of
relevant unaltered PHP code I'm sure I can help. Also, what specific error
message are you getting? Perhaps you don't have magic quotes turned on in
php.ini or you've overridden it in .htaccess, but I'm not even sure that's
the problem without seeing some code, error messages and more detail.

I wouldn't hold my breath. It's actually not reasonable to think Cobalt is
going to create PKG files for all of their products every time one of the
hundreds of programs on the server has a new major (or in this case minor)
release. Nice, yes. Reasonable, no.

I've installed PHP 4.0.5 from source (not RPM or PKG) on the RaQ2, RaQ3 and
RaQ4, but not yet on a RaQ XTR.
