This right here is going to give you a *lot* of trouble.
Melbourne IT is the pickiest friggin place to deal with when it comes
to nameservers.
If, for example, you've got "cobranded" nameservers at 4Webspace
(Tera-Byte), Melbourne IT will REFUSE to acknowledge your nameservers
because they're pointing to T-B's nameservers. You MUST put in T-B's
nameservers or Melbourne IT won't even let you finish filling out the
stupid form.
Also the SOA info on the RaQ for the domain must be absolutely
*perfect*. You'll most likely have to go in and edit it by hand.
Unlike the rest of the registrars in the world that will accept what
the RaQ puts in for defaults (because the RaQ is, after all, handling
the requests and will direct people where they need to go); Melbourne
IT will demand that everything in that SOA is spiffy white and shining
before it will direct anyone to your box for that domain.
The good news is, once you do this one time, after that you just leave
the domain records at Melbourne IT alone. If the site should change
IPs, if you move to a new NOC, whatever... just be sure to take your
nameservers with you. Update their IP addies with the original
registrar (god forbid it should be M.IT.) and don't tell M.IT. about
it. It will give out a nameserver, the ISP will give the current IP
for that nameserver, the domain gets served.
