This is happening on my RaQ4i and it definately has not been hacked as it
has not been off my local net yet.

My setup is non-standard though. I have got software RAID1 running on the /,
/var, /home partitions and I suspected this was a side effect. As with your
problem, when I go into "disk usage" the problem disappears.

Sorry to say this and hope I am wrong, but it happened to one of my servers
once and it meant it had been hacked.
