How are you trying to access the box? Specifically, if the box from
which you are trying to connect via, for example, HTTP, is on an ISP
supplied connection and if you are using private IP addresses on the
server you are not going to be able to connect directly except
through a serial port as the IP addresses will not be compatable.
Thus my question is this. Are you using the same private
address space on the server and on the computer from which you are
trying to access server supplied services such as HTPP, FTP, etc.?
