My XTR has been running for nearly 2 months now. One web site defined,
"flinthomes.net." The XTR box has a host name of "faar" and we have a
dozen users defined on it. Last week, all of a sudden, all browsers
were being redirected to "faar.flinthomes.net" when they tried to hit
"www.flinthomes.net." A local ISP was able to log in and found the
configuration file for Apache had it set to do that. He reset the file
and we've been fine since. He did say that whatever changed it the
first time will probably do it again at some point.
I attempted to add a new user to the system the other day and all of
their email is bouncing. So I logged in as the user using Cobalt's
WebMail and sent an email to myself from this user's new account. When
I received the email it had come from "rick@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
instead of "rick@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx" ... this is that bloody host name
problem again.
The GUI shows a web server alias of "www" (which didn't help last
weeks problem) and the email server alias is blank. These setting
haven't changed since we turned the box on two months ago. The
existing accounts, such as my own, are working fine, it's only with
the newly added accounts is this happening.
Any help is most appreciated!
