XTR been running for nearly two months. When email is sent to my SMTP
server on the Cobalt 50% of the time it'll take over 1 minute to
connect to the server. Outlook Express for example sits there with a
"connecting to..." dialog for well over a minute. Then it times-out
and you click on the "try again" and it goes right through that time.
One Cobalt list member suggested that my reverse DNS was wrong (using
my ISP's DNS) and he's checked it twice and both times said that it's
fine, on both of his DNS boxes. Using two different email clients with
the problem occuring with both so it's not a client issue, and it sure
is annoying.
Anybody have any ideas on what to check for?
