Re: [cobalt-users] RE: Web site forwarding



Just put an redirection page using java script, meta tag or even htaccess
...

If you have web server alias field, you may try this :

OK look at that,  create a web site named www microsoft.com . After put
www.virtualsite.com as web server alias. If you notice, the web server alias
is always replace with the DOMAIN field in the url of the browser and
redirected to it!!!!
thats what you want.

Example: i create a web site microsoft.com  and i give it an IP address
1.1.1.1    (host www)
so now i enter hordesofhell.com in web server alias
i create a www.hordesofhell.com pointing to 1.1.1.1 in my dns

When you will type www.hordesofhell.com you will be redirectec to
microsoft.com web page !!!


Hope you are trying that on Raq4 or Xtr !! wont work on raq3 or 2
