[cobalt-users] Web Server lock up on Raq 4

Hi all,

The web server on our Raq4 keeps locking up. When this happens no web pages
are available not even the Cobalt GUI. Other services such as
SSH,Telnet,Email and even the ASP GUI are unaffected. Any ideas what the
cause might be. I read somewhere about apache freezing when serving lots of
small gif files which is exactly what we are doing.

When it happens which seems to be every 45 minutes or so, restart apache by
telnet and everything is fine again.


Any help or ideas would be appreciated
