[cobalt-users] named sendto error???

Hi All,

I am getting a bunch of the following each hour:

named[###]: ns_req: sendto([XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX].####): Network is unreachable

I put in a block for all of the Chinese networks that were discussed on the 
list before the "Cyberwar".  Now I am getting the above message several 
times an hour.  The IP's are those that have been blocked.

I understand why it is not making it through...I have the IP's blocked.  My 
question is:  Where are the requests coming from?  Why would my named be 
trying to send to other IP's???  I am not making the requests...at least not 
that I know of...

Please pardon me if this is a stupid question, but it has been bugging me 
and I can't seem to find a good answer.
