I have a RAQ4i so the setup should be identical.
We have also set up Interbase to use via ASP and ourminitial test has been
successful, although with a bit of messing around!
In your SDN you need to specify the full path to your database under DbName,
not just the name of the database

You can place your .gdb anywhere within the virtual site structure.
we opted to create an additional folder "database" at the same level as the
www folder for the site, ie out of the web path
Yes the file will be a .gdb

Sorry can't help you with this one, we did hand coded ASP, and it wasn't me!
I just did the server side setup of the DSN etc

Check out the Interbase site http://www.interbase.com/ There's a windows
client and server interface.
We also managed to find a site which had a neat program which could take
your interbase database and
convert it to interbase and subsequently synchronise it to your web one.
Look for "mdb2gdb or sql2gdb"
