Hi, I'm back again.
This is my first attempt to connect to an Interbase database. I have
created the DSN in the cobalt menu system, pretty straight forward there
(dsn name, db filename, user, password), this is on a RAQ4r.
1. Where do the .gdb database file locate themselves? Have I even got the
file extension correct? (so I can create the correct path for my DSN setup)
2. The client ODBC driver to connect either macromedia UltraDev and/or Ms
Access 2000? (I assume the server is already setup correctly, I am currently
trying to use Easysoft trial ODBC driver)
3. The client software to create tables and set field defaults etc? (GUI
interface if possible please)
Sorry if I have repeated myself from previous posts but I am confusing
myself now I think ;-).
regards,
Todd Kirk
