Fellow cobalt users,
Sorry if this is a re-post. Still looking for some help. I made the
mistake of not being subscribed, and did not get any response back to my
address. If you can help, posts to the list or to me would be really
appreciated!
Thanks, Jeff

Folks,
I upgraded an old RaQ1 to RaQ2 software. When I created a simple mailing
list of three recipients using the Cobalt web-based GUI interface, and then
tried to email to it, I get the following response back:
MAJORDOMO ABORT (mj_resend)!!
shlock: '/var/tmp' is not writable by UID 110 GID 2
I went through the archives and found the following command in a message
that said it would fix the problem:
chown 110.2 /usr/local/majordomo/lists
I tried it and the problem persists. Why would Cobalt ship out an O/S
release with an entire feature broken? FYI, I have installed all patches up
through 9878 on the RaQ2. Any help would be appreciated. Please reply back
to my email address:
jmckune@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks!
Best regards,
Jeff McKune
