Yep...also a real good reason NOT to use a registrar that doesn't use a
logon name and password, allowing you to do it from anywhere (g).

Sorry, I should have been more sprecific
if I am using xxx.xxx.xxx.11
and xxx.xxx.xxx.12 for my ns1 and ns2, can I point
his ns1 and ns2 to those same IPs? Or, does he need dedicated ip's
I recall inconclusive statements on the list about that issue.

The only thing that makes sense is if NSI is willing to change the
IP addresses in their records of his ns1 and ns2 to whatever IP addresses
I assign to him.
they have them listed as ns1.hisdomain.com and ns2.hisdomain.com, so
it might make sense to just change the IP addresses.
THe last time I had dealings with NSI on name servers, it took over a week
to straighten it out....and they very clumsily created a second NIC handle
for me, with out letting me know...so when a request to ack arrived, I did
as normal...with my password.
After multiple rejections and numerous phone calls, they finally owned up
to thier "creative" solution, but never bothered to apologize for not
telling me about the second handle.
