RE: [cobalt-users] Major security issue - PHP

I may be talking rubbish here, but in my understanding of life, the universe
and everything, it doesn't matter who ows what, php is running as the same
user as httpd, and since httpd has access, php has also.

If you didn't specify safe-mode when installing PHP, then you need to make
sure the following is set to on in php.ini.

safe_mode = On

For more info. on safe_mode consult the php manual at www.php.net or search
the PHP list archive at http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=php-general or
signup for the php-general mailing list at www.php.net. Those are by far
better places to get answers for your PHP problems than a Cobalt list.
