Hi, can anyone help me with the following problem. I have tried to
configure a couple of virtual websites using the remote administration
tool but these do not seem to be working. The idea is to keep the
mkcollege.ac.uk domain name but distinguish the sites based on the host
name.
I followed these steps.
I went into the server management tool site management >> add virtual
site. In the virtual site I added the IP address of the server
(212.78.71.60) defined a new host name called cms instead of www to
distinguish the new site, and retained the domain name entered in your
dns (mkcollege.ac.uk). I then went control panel >>dns parameters and
added an address record for cms.mkcollege.ac.uk to point to the IP
address 212.78.71.60.
Also I would like to configure security for this virtual site so that
only the users created can access the site. I cannot see from the manual
how this can be done.
Thanks
