I am doing that - I needed to set up the new ns1.domain.tld and
ns2.domain.tld as sep virtual sites with their own ip (or at least have a
site on the ip that the ns names are defined on - as the registry will ping
the nameservers to see if they exist before you can register them).
Then once they are setup you go to your registrar and register those as
nameservers.
Once that's done then Jane's yer Aunty - you can use them as nameservers.
Can't have (as far as I know) two nameservers on the same ip
