We do this on a couple sites. Make an record for the 3rd and 4th
so that they point to the 1st and 2nd name servers IPs. Just
register all four with unique IPs and do the following:

ns1.greatsite.com --> 111.111.111.111
ns2.greatsite.com --> 111.111.111.112

ns1.crapsite.com --> 111.111.111.111
ns2.crapsite.com --> 111.111.111.112
