[cobalt-users] Wild Card in DNS Server

Hi Guys,

I was searching any method to use wild cards in my cobalt RQ4 DNS server. I found the mail of Mr. Chris
in which he stated that he already did this thing in RQ3. I repeat same but this solution is not working I am just mentioning steps so any one or Mr. Chris can help me out.

su root
cd /etc/named
ls
touch pri.dollarasia.com.include
pico pri.dollarasia.com.include
# Add this line in pri.dollarasia.com.include
*.dollarasia.com.    in      cname   dollarasia.com.
# then restart DNS
/etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart
pico pri.dollarasia.com
# make sure a line was added that looks like this-
# $INCLUDE pri.dollarasia.com.include
# If you don't see that then go to Web Based GUI and click on "Control Panel
DNS Parameters" then click "Save Changes To DNS Server then Click "Save
Changes" at the bottom of the main control Panel Screen.

Then whatever.dollarasia.com will go to dollarasia.com.
