this is on a raq3:
[shimi@raq3 shimi]$ uptime
12:07pm up 1 min, 1 user, load average: 0.53, 0.24, 0.09
[shimi@raq3 shimi]$ cat /etc/issue
Cobalt Linux release 5.0 (Pacifica)
Kernel 2.2.16C24_III on an i586
[shimi@raq3 shimi]$ uname -a
Linux raq3 2.2.16C24_III #1 Thu Mar 22 21:17:39 PST 2001 i586 unknown
Also a cute new thing!
[admin@www admin]$ cat /proc/cpuinfo
[bla...]
system type : RaQ3/4
good addon!
Appears it worked fine...
In the software installation in the maintenance menu I now see this added:
RaQ3-All-Kernel Release 4.0.1-2.216C24III
No waiting e-mails for user admin nor user root.
But I already saw a complaint on someone with a fucked box after
installing the raq4's update
bleh :)
and also someone who tried that exploit that that kernel was supposed to
fix had reported the exploit still works on the new kernel.
hope it helps the clueless users among us :)
Best regards,
