Dear cobalt users,
I have recently set up my domain on a RAQ3 server, and enabled email. I am
able to receive email locally from any of the virtual hosts and also from
public email services like yahoo mail. However, when I (or others) send
email from ISP email providers or other company email servers then an
authentication failure occurs as such:
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by
the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'cinfo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx'. Subject
'just a test', Account: 'praveenm', Server: 'smtp.best.com', Protocol: SMTP,
Server Response: '550 <cinfo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>... User unknown', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
I changed the domain service provider a few weeks ago.
Any clues as why this may occur?. Thanks in advance.
