[cobalt-users] Perl 5.6 on RAQ3

Has anyone successfully upgraded to Perl 5.6 and still had full use of the
cobalt scripts and Gui.

If so is there anywhere where this is documented ?

I see, from the archives, that Brandon Wheaton has recommended Active Perl -
has anyone (preferably a lesser experienced person like me :-)  ) tried this
?

I also see from the archives a set of ppl who have crashed after upgrading
and stacks of warnings not to !

any advice cheerfully sought
