Hello Gerald,
Thanks for the reply. I checked the .cnf files, and they have the smtp
line added. However, I did find a solution that I hope will help
others through this problem.
I have a separate mail server for mail, so I don't use the email
server on the cobalt. Therefore it is disabled. Perhaps this is why I
was getting the error.
So, I entered the IP address of the mail server in the .cnf file
instead, and all works fine now.
