Re: [cobalt-users] RaQ vs Something Else

the cobalts look like tin foil, in fact I use these cases to help support
the cobalts as the cobalts tend to droop in the rack due to the poor quality
cases (ie the ears bend).

When I worked at Netscape, we had Foundry ServerIronXL switches.. you know, $14,500 24 port Layer 4 switches... that drooped a bit. All rackmount hardware (unless it's like 4u) bends. I haven't seen the RaQ droop/bend any more than something else.

Easy to solve.. shove a block of wood under the thing. Looks kinda white-trash, but hey, it works. :P

$95 256 MB RAM (PC133 SDRAM) from Micron

www.memoryx.com :P Get it cheaper, and probably better RAM...

is a drawback. Finding an all in one board which includes built in video,
sound, and lan is much easier to locate for a Pentium chip. By using the
Tyan board you avoid the need of having to purchase a video card, Ethernet,

The Intel 810CAE boards also have built-in ethernet, video, and sound. They're decent little boards, actually.
