[cobalt-users] PostgreSLQ problem

Hi list,

I've got a rather strange problem on one of my RaQ3s:  Postgres has stopped,
making the GUI useless, and whenever I try to manually kick-start it, I get
the following errors:

[root@xxxxxxxxxxx init.d]# ./postgresql start
Setting up PostgreSQL: FATAL: StreamServerPort: bind() failed: Permission
denied
        Is another postmaster already running on that port?
        If not, remove socket node (/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5583) and retry.
/usr/bin/postmaster: cannot create UNIX stream port

Any idea what this is, or what would cause it?
