When you get this message, it already has been replaced.
Usally you get this message when you frequently use pine.

if you remove it from you mailbox, it will do no harm.

If you want proof.
just open your /var/spool/mail/login with an editor like vi
and browse through the file.

then you will notice 2 of these messages, 1 at the beginning of the 
file and 1 later.

The first 1 is the important one, which should not popup in your mailbox.
the second one is a glitch in pine or something.
