Also I find it far faster to put the url in of the .pkg file and let it install server to server, rather then downloading it, then uploading it.

Since I posted that query I have also learned to use the "wget" command.
If you use "wget" you also has the possibility to chack that you actually got
the whole file during transfer. Just check the file size.
