I get this:
errors occured while rotating /var/log/httpd/access
/tmp/logrotfPvPpm: line 4: 6609 Broken pipe /usr/local/sbin/split_logs web </var/log/httpd/access
error running prerotate script --
leaving old log in place
It happened for the first time a week or so ago. I split the logs into smaller and smaller pieces and processed them all. I just received this again last night. Nothing has changed on my box for months (except for adding web sites and DNS entries). Does anyone have anu idea what this is? I assume that someone is hitting the box and their address or info, causes strange log entries that cause the split_logs script to fail. If this is the case, great job on the programming by Cobalt.
