Subscribe to the digest version of the list and see how civil your
top-posted rant is to those readers.
Search engines also cost nothing to use. Asking a question about things on
this list without at least an indication of what resources were tried first
is, IMO, about as rude as it gets.
I can't count the number of times someone replied to such a post with the
first thing they would try only to see a reply back of, "I already tried
that."
